This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued, paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This is a commercial solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13, solicitation no. FA4690-09-T-0020 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) on 08 June 2009. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. This solicitation is for the following:
1. Rossignol Edge Jr I Downhill Skis, "or equal." Any "or equal," submission must meet the following characteristics and size / quantity (20 EACH) data contained in Attachment 3 for Solicitation: FA4690-09-T-0020, which is entitled Jr SKIS SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
2. Rossignol Rental Binding Jr I & Jr II,"or equal." Any "or equal," submission must meet the following characteristics and size / quantity (30 EACH) data contained in Attachment 4 for Solicitation: FA4690-09-T-0020, which is entitled SKI POLES AND BINDINGS SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
3. Rossignol Edge Jr II Downhill Skis, "or equal." Any "or equal," submission must meet the following characteristics and size / quantity (10 EACH) data contained in Attachment 3 for Solicitation: FA4690-09-T-0020, which is entitled Jr SKIS SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
4. Rossignol Edge Rental Flash Adult Downhill Skis, "or equal." Any "or equal," submission must meet the following characteristics and size / quantity (103 EACH) data contained in Attachment 2 for Solicitation: FA4690-09-T-0020, which is entitled ADULT SKIs SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
5. Jr Downhill Boots-Liberty 5 Rental Ski Boot, "or equal." Any "or equal," submission must meet the following characteristics and size / quantity (40 EACH) data contained in Attachment 1 for Solicitation: FA4690-09-T-0020, which is entitled Jr AND ADULT SKI BOOT SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
6. Adult Downhill Ski Boots-Liberty 5 Rental Boot, "or equal." Any "or equal," submission must meet the following characteristics and size / quantity (194 EACH) data contained in Attachment 1 for Solicitation: FA4690-09-T-0020, which is entitled Jr AND ADULT SKI BOOT SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
7. Rossignol Downhill Adult Ski Pole, "or equal." Any "or equal," submission must meet the following characteristics and size / quantity (126 EACH) data contained in Attachment 4 for Solicitation: FA4690-09-T-0020, which is entitled SKI POLES AND BINDINGS SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
8. Further instructions and guidance pertaining to the Skis, Bindings and Boots Requirement are contained in the Attachment 5 SF 1449 Solicitation.
