The Village of Schaumburg is deploying a Situational Awareness platform in support of the Schaumburg Police Department (SPD), being procured under a separate initiative, and will be adding security video cameras to enhance its situational awareness capabilities. This Request for Proposals (RFP) exclusively addresses the procurement, installation and configuration of cameras and the wireless network elements required to facilitate their connectivity to the Village’s network. This RFP is for a turn-key design-build solution, where the successful proposal accepts the responsibility for procurement, installation, and configuration of all elements, except where explicitly excluded from their scope. The Village of Schaumburg highly recommends that vendors interested in submitting a proposal join the project conference call prior to submitting a proposal to ensure full understanding of the project. The call will take place on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Proposals will be received by the Purchasing Office at the above address until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021.
