The City of Fitchburg is seeking bids for Siphon/Various Sewers Heavy Cleaning and Inspection. Bids will be received at the office of the Chief Procurement Officer, Fitchburg Municipal Offices, 166 Boulder Drive, Fitchburg, MA until Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 1:00 pm local time, and at that time and place publicly opened and recorded. The scope of work for the base bid includes heavy cleaning and television inspection of approximately 2,300 linear feet of siphons. Required Base Bid contract completion period is 86 consecutive days as stipulated in Section 00520 AGREEMENT. Scope of the work for Alternate 1 includes the heavy cleaning and television/sonar inspection of approximately 3,000 linear feet of sewers. Required Alternate Bid 1 contract completion period is 43 consecutive days as stipulated in Section 00520 AGREEMENT. Scope of the work for Alternate Bid 2 includes the heavy cleaning and television/sonar inspection of approximately 980 linear feet of 54-inch diameter sewers. Required Alternate Bid 2 contract completion period is 14 consecutive days as stipulated in Section 00520 AGREEMENT. Scope of work for Alternate Bid 3 includes the heavy cleaning and television/sonar inspection of approximately 346 LF of 26-inch by 39-inch sewers. Required Alternate Bid 3 contract completion period is 7 consecutive days as stipulated in Section 00520 AGREEMENT. Required contract completion period is as stipulated in Section 00520 AGREEMENT.
