Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA) is seeking an expression of interest from companies capable of providing instrumentation to support Single Crystal Raman Micro-Spectroscopy for Beamline X26-C at the NSLS, located at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), Upton, New York 11973.

A rendering schematic, photograph of the current installation at X26-C and a narrative describing the anticipated specification are attached for your information.  The procurement method envisioned for the project will be a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation which will be evaluated based upon technical factors and other criteria such as past performance. The RFP solicitation will be issued in the latter part of January 2009.

In the event your organization is interested in this project, please respond by Monday, December 22, 2008.  An on site BNL visit is welcome prior to the issuance of the RFP solicitation.
