The Naval Air Warfare Center-Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ has a requirement for continued support for the Smart Integration Manager Ontologically Networked (SIMON) International Program Opportunity engagement Tool (iPOET). Additional ontology, rule and semantic reasoning framework development is required, as well as subject matter expertise for technology planning, technology concept development, and work product integration. This is required to ensure functionality of the prototype iPOET system for the NAVY IPO Senior Leadership demonstration event


THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.

GENERAL INFORMATION: SRI International is the developer and provider of the SIMON Platform and the only qualified source capable to effectively continue the development, testing and integration of the SIMON platform at an efficient cost and effective manner within the specified timeframe. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above.
