The 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, CA intend to establish a single source contract with Simbionix USA Corp, 5381 S Alkire Cir, Littleton, CO, 80127-1403, for service agreement and warranty for the Simbionix/3D Systems Angio Ultimate.

The authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by only one source reasonably available is in accordance with FAR 13.106(b) Soliciting from a single source. The Air Force currently has the 3D Systems Angio Ultimate which is a proprietary system that requires the use of the Simbionix USA Corp.

This is a notice of the intent to award a sole source contract. It is published for informational purposes only and not as a request for competitive quotations. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. No responses to the notice of intent to sole source are anticipated, however, all quotations/responses received within two (2) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
