Sealed Bids for construction of the Silverton Water Treatment Plant Replacement Project will be received at the office of the City of Silverton Public Works 306 S Water Street, Silverton, OR 97381, Attention Bart Stepp (Owner), until 2:00 p.m., local time, on the 30th day of August 2022. Any Bids received after the specified time will not be considered. Bids will then be publicly opened and read. The Project contemplated consists of construction of a new water treatment plant including the following processes, equipment, and features: Two new 1,400 gallon per minute (gpm) package treatment units and associated equipment installed in a new slab-on-grade steel framed metal building. Associated air compressors, blowers, chemical systems, dedicated backwash pumps, and other appurtenances. Retrofit of existing WTP for backwash settling and recovery. New electrical and control systems, including new conduits to the High Level Pump Station. Connection of raw water piping to existing raw water piping for two raw water sources. A bid alternate to perform cured in place pipe lining to a section of raw water pipeline. A bid alternate to refurbish the High Level Pump Station including new high-level finished water pumps, piping, valves, associated electrical equipment, controls, and a new roof on existing pump station. The Work will be completed in all respects within 450 calendar days from the date when the Contract commences.
