Contractor shall be capable of maintaining a service contract for the Siemens NX Mach 7CAD-CAM Program. This will include:
-Technical phone support 5 days a week, 24 hours per day.
-New Software releases and enhancements
-24 X 7 access to 45,000 + document knowledge Database:
Technical answers, techniques FAQS...
-Significant discounts on software upgrade packages
-Live and recorded product "Tips & Techniques" sessions.
-Special email alerts and notices via "the Maintenance Minute".
-This is to continue the support afforded by the expired contract FA8224-12-P-0016 that expired July 1st 2012.

An approved Justification and Approval document stating authorization for
brand name purchase and market research revealed only one supplier for this
particle software, the manufacturer. The software renewal purchase is most
economical to the Air Force consider associated accomplished steps. Siemens
Government Technologies, Inc. is considered the only responsible source for
the purchase of the Unigraphics NX CAD/CAD license renewal and upgrade per
attached purchase description as authorized under FAR
6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A)&(B).

THE PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION IS FOR SUPPLIES AND SERVICES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE, OR A LIMITED NUMBER OF SOURCES UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1. INTERESTED PERSONS MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT OR SUBMIT PROPOSALS. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. SPECIFICATIONS, PLANS, OR DRAWING RELATING TO THE PROCUREMENT DESCRIBED ARE INCOMPLETE OR NOT AVAILABLE AND CANNOT BE FURNISHED BY THE GOVERNMENT. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT OWN THE DATA OR RIGHTS TO THE DATA NEEDED TO PURCHASE THIS ITEM FROM ADDITIONAL SOURCES.
THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO OBLIGATION TO REIMBURSE AN ORFFEROR FOR ANY COSTS.
