Customs and Border protection intends on issuing a contract to Remington Arms, Madison, WI for 810 each 870P shotguns. The shotguns shall include the following: 14” Barrel, w/Modified choke, Wilson Ghost Ring Sight with Tritium Post, Davis SpeedFeed IV-S Pistol Grip Stock (13” LOP), AT Fore-End (Swollen at Front and Rear of fore-end), 1-Shot Magazine Extension, Boonie Packer Follower, Parkerized Finish. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any firm that believes it can meet the requirements of this notice must provide supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the capability of the firm/product to provide in accordance with the specifications identified above. Responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in the preparation of responses to its announcement. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source contract.
