This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-09-Q0016a is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. (iv) This procurement is being issued as Unrestricted. (v) CLIN 1: Shot Peening Services on A-10 Wings, Small Parts and Components as required by the technical manual and performance work statement. This requirement averages one (1) to five (5) A-10 aircraft wings and miscellaneous small aircraft parts. Quotation should be for total cost per monthly service to include per wing, per small part, setup fees and materials. Quotation shall also include all applicable taxes and fees. (vi) Period of Performance is 1 October 2008 through 30 September 2009. Place of Performance: AMARG Central Receiving, 4860 S. Superior Ave, Bldg 7328, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707. (vii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (viii) 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price. (ix) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.204-8 Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer. (x) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
