Township of Lower Merion Advertisement Sealed Proposals will be received by the Township of Lower Merion for the following: Shortridge Memorial Park Streambank Maintenance Contract Number: 4652-22-32 Sealed proposals shall be submitted online via the Pennbid Program (www.Pennbid.net). Proposals will be received until 11 am, prevailing time, Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders section of the Bid Document. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required. Also, a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25% is required. Bidders may obtain electronic copies of drawings and specifications of this project, at no cost, on the PennBid website noted above. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the north area of Shortridge Memorial Park by the intersection of Shortridge Drive and Wynnewood Road in Wynnewood, PA 19096 on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10:30 AM., for all interested Bidders. Scope of Work The work includes, but not limited to, removal and resetting of toe boulders; installation of toe boulders, coir logs, and coir mats; selective tree removal; regrading landscape; and restoration. Construction Notice to Proceed is planned for March 2023 pending contract execution. ATTENTION IS CALLED TO THE FACT THAT NOT LESS THAN THE MINIMUM SALARIES AND WAGES AS SET FORTH IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS MUST BE PAID ON THIS PROJECT, AND THAT THE CONTRACTOR MUST ENSURE THAT EMPLOYEES AND APPLICANTS FOR EMPLOYMENT ARE NOT DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BECAUSE OF THEIR RACE, COLOR, RELIGION, DISABILITY, SEX OR NATIONAL ORIGIN.
