PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FROM ANY ENTITY OTHER THAN THE PREVIOUSLY LISTED FIRMS INCLUDED IN THE GROUP 4 DREDGING MATOC POOL.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project will nourish eroded shoreline in Brevard County between Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Range Monuments R-3A to R-54A for the North Reach segment and FDEP Range Monuments R-118a and R-139 for the South Reach segment. The fill template for North Reach is situated between Patrick Air Force Base and Cape Canaveral (9.4 miles in length). The fill template for South Reach is located between Indialantic and Melbourne Beach (3.4 miles in length). The project beach has a maximum berm elevation of +8.2 feet, NAVD88, sloping seaward to a minimum berm elevation no less than +6.7 feet, NAVD88 with a foreshore slope of 1 Vertical on 15 Horizontal to tie into existing grade. The project beach has a tolerance of +0.5 feet above the elevations described above. The width of the berm varies from the Construction Baseline as shown on the drawings. The sand for the project will be sourced from an offshore borrow area. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, vibration control and monitoring, environmental species monitoring, and turbidity monitoring.

Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00.

The request for proposal will be issued on 25 SEPTEMBER 2017 and proposals will be due on or about 25 OCTOBER 2017. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA) or Best Value Trade-Off; for LPTA the technical evaluation factors are availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment and past performance. Districts can contact the Jacksonville District regarding contractors' performance under the MATOC and/or check contractors' past performance on PPIRS (CCASS).
