U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting on a sole source basis with Honeywell International Inc, 1300 West Warner Rd, Tempe, AZ 85284 for the inventory, packaging and shipment of Government furnished property as listed on contract H92241-08-D-0006 with Honeywell International. The proposed action will be processed as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.1. Firms that recognize and can provide the supplies are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal; however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date IAW FAR 5.203 (a). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government.
