SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

 SLAC is looking for sources to provide pricing and lead time for the following Request for Information:

 Tungsten 95 % W + 3.5% Ni + 1.5 Fe

Final assembly of tungsten shall have the following dimensions. They will be stacked inside of a frames with the internal dimensions being the same as listed below.
4 volumes each with these dimensions: 15cm x 100cm x 180cm
2 volumes each with these dimensions:: 30cm x 100cm x 65cm

Max weight of individual pieces not to exceed 50 lb

Please include dimensional tolerances.

Please quote sizes that will fill the volumes listed above.
