The San Miguel County Sheriff’s Office is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide a strategic assessment of the Office in order to continue to provide the best service to our staff members, visitors and the community. PROJECT PURPOSE: San Miguel County, Colorado is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the purpose of selecting a qualified and experienced consultant to provide a strategic assessment of the Office, divisions and policies and practices in order to continue to provide the best service to our community. SCOPE OF WORK: The selected consultant will create a report that evaluates the policies and practices of the Office of the Sheriff and the divisions within. Scope includes: Conducting various operational assessments of the agency, including (but not limited to) the assessment of the following: Leadership practices Agency operations Operational coordination between divisions Policies and procedures Training practices Search and Rescue operations and management Sheri Community policing practices Agency feedback systems Succession planning Proposals should be submitted via email to [email protected] no later than October 26th.
