The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is officially conducting market research that will be used to develop the acquisition plan for the SHEP Sediment Basin Project. The project will entail the demolition of an existing tidal gate and the construction of a rock weir across the back river of the Savannah River. A general scope of work for the project has been included.

Participation in the Request for Information (RFI) process is important in that it makes USACE decision-makers aware of the capabilities that exist in the market. Your response is a key factor in the development of the acquisition strategy.

Data collected will become the property of the USACE, and will be used to provide a snapshot of how businesses who participated are capable of providing the required services.

USACE does not claim or suggest participation in this questionnaire will result in consideration or award of a federal contract. Participation in the questionnaire is entirely voluntary and non-participation will not affect the consideration of any company for future federal contracts.
