The contractor shall organize and prepare materials received by the Division from mail services and internal processing units. The contractor shall shelve the materials; prepare loose serial issues for binding; inventory the collections by comparing the information on the physical item with the critical elements in Voyager, the Library's integrated library system (ILS); pin and link monographs, serials, and other formats of materials in the collections; create item records and holdings records in the ILS; prepare serials for binding on a weekly basis by pulling, collating, reviewing and updating the Library online catalog; produce binding tickets or the equivalent using binding preparation software; transport materials to be bound; dispose of duplicates; re-shelve returned bound items into the proper collection; and shift & shelve materials in all formats and all collections from one area to another.
