This is a Request for Information (RFI) for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) being released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 10 - Market Research. TSA has standardized Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) as its internal content and document management platform, and it is used to enhance data-sharing and collaboration among employees. TSA intends to utilize this RFI as a means of performing market research to survey the state of the market in relation to the availability of additional capabilities beyond what Microsoft includes in the software. The TSA is currently considering purchasing third-party tools (COTS) and installing them as features into the base platform.

TSA reserves the right to use information from the responses to this RFI to determine if any small business set-asides may be applicable to any solicitation that may result from this RFI.
