The Naval Air Systems Command, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole-source basis with Accurate Machine Company, Lancaster, CA for the following items: 3 each Power Supply Subassembly p/n SFT1115-1, 2 each RF Generation Assemblies p/n SFT1107-1, 10 each RF Controller Assemblies p/n SFT8106-1, 2 each CPU Assemblies p/n SFT1120-1, 6 each Base Band Synthesizer p/n SFT1106-1, 5 each Display Assemblies p/n SFT1104-1, 5 each Display Gasket p/n SFT1154-1, 4 each VNA Assembly p/n SFT1116-1, 3 each Possum Assembly p/n SFT1139A-1. Accurate Machine Company is the sole designer, developer and integrator of these parts and is the only known firm with the unique knowledge, experience, technical data, to provide these items. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
