This is a Notice of Intent to issue a firm-fixed-price contract for a base year and four option years to Sesame Workshop 1 Lincoln Plaza, FL 2, New York NY -10023-8103 on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Sole Source Justification is attached hereto. The proposed procurement is for television programming currently licensed/distributed by Sesame Workshop, for the American Forces Network - Broadcast Center (AFN-BC), located at the Defense Media Activity, 23755 Z Street, Riverside, CA 92518.

The contractor shall provide broadcast rights of its television programming to AFN to reproduce and distribute, provide live feeds or recorded copies of authorized programs and provide access to affiliate information data networks and/or websites.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Governme nt not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the di scretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
