This is a pre-solicitation notice.  The 48^th Contracting Squadron, RAF Lakenheath/RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom seeks commercial sources for a Service Musician Contractor for the RAF Lakenheath Protestant Parish, shall provide musical accompaniment for hymns, choirs, and instrumental music prior to, during and after the RAF Lakenheath Protestant Chapel Service to enhance worship atmosphere. The Service Musician shall work in unison with the Protestant Music Director and the Chaplain presiding over the service.   Also, per request of the Chaplain, provide musical accompaniment for special services throughout the year. These services may include, but not limited to: Christmas Eve or Good Friday services, etc.

The contractor shall be responsible for all necessary licenses or certifications to operate legally in the United Kingdom. The period of performance shall be for one (1) year, from 01 September 2016 to 31 August 2017 and will have one (1) Option Year from 01 September 2017 to 31 August 2018. The period of performance is anticipated to begin 01 September 2016. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) for award consideration. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 813110-Religious Organizations.

All responsive quotations will be considered by the 48th Contracting Squadron, RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom. A complete Request for Quotes (RFQ) solicitation package will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and paper copies will not be available. Contractors may download the solicitation and e-mail quotations to the email addresses below. Once the solicitation is posted, on or about 16 June 2016, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The solicitation will be issued under full and open competition procedures.
