This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a request for quotation. Submit offers on NIAID-RFQ14A1688274. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-74 effective May 30, 2014. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219, which has a small-business size standard of $19 million. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to procure a service agreement for a Varian Mercury 300 NMR system for 1 year.
