The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex, AL intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the acquisition of serials subscription services for Air University Library at Maxwell AFB - Gunter Annex, AL to existing Library of Congress/ FEDLINK Program Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) holders. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this effort is 424920 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. It is anticipated that a single solicitation and a firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded as a result of this notice. The Government is soliciting for the award of a Firm-Fixed Price base year purchase order with 4 (four) one-year available option periods. The solicitation will be issued on or about 13 Jan 2011 with a 30 day proposal period. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and technical factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
