COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION COMBO:

SERE Parachutes

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
2. Solicitation FA4877-20-Q-A287 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

1. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06, Defense Procurement Notice 20200324, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2020-0423.
2. This is a total-small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 314999 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
3. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the following:

CLIN 0001 - Vector 3 APS Harness/Container System, Skyhook RSL, Louie Loops, Safety Hook Knife, Soft Reserve Handle, Hackey Handle for main PC (Manufacturer:  Relative Workshop). QTY: 2 EA

CLIN 0002 - Escape Parachutes Silhouette 230 Main Parachute (9-cell), (includes Slinks and a recovery bag). (Manufacturer: Performance Designs) QTY: 2 EA

CLIN 0003 - Escape Parachutes PD 218 Reserve Parachute (includes Slinks). (Manufacturer: Performance Designs) QTY: 2 EA

CLIN 0004 - Escape Parachutes CYPRES 2 AAD (1-pin, expert or c-mode). (Manufacturer: Aircrew LPP, SSK Industries) QTY: 2 EA

1. Delivery of the Parachutes and parts shall be FOB Destination. Delivery must be coordinated with the designated Government point of contact.
2. The government will place an order with the offeror whose quote meets lowest price and technical acceptability. Technical acceptability is defined and referred to within this solicitation document as the offeror’s capability statement to meet the defined salient characteristics of the product.
3. Important Dates/Times (All Times are Arizona Local Time)
   1. Questions are due by 26 June 2020, 2:00 PM.
   2. Answers will be provided by 29 June 2020, 2:00 PM.
   3. All quotes shall be submitted by 30 June 2020, 2:00 PM.
