THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALEM SEQUOIA CROSSINGS PROJECT EXEMPTION FROM COMPETITIVE BIDDING REQUIREMENT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SALEM COMMISSION, AS THE LOCAL CONTRACT REVIEW BOARD FOR THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SALEM, OREGON, will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2020, virtually, for the purpose of receiving comments on the Salem Housing Authority of the City of Salem's draft findings for an exemption from competitive bidding requirements and the use of an alternative contracting method for Sequoia Crossings Project. Prior to the hearing, any person may review the draft findings at https://www.salemhous ingor.com/ or send written comments to [email protected]. If you would like to provide testimony at the hearing, please pre-register on the day of the hearing between the hours of 8:00 am. and 2:00 p.m. at the following link https://www.cityofsalem.net/Pages/Pub lic-Comment-at-Salem-City-Council-Meet ing.aspx. After the close of the public hearing, the Commission will deliberate and may make a decision whether to adopt the draft findings and approve the exemption from competitive bidding. The draft findings addressing this issue will be available no later than December 2, 2020, for inspection at no cost, and copies will be provided at reasonable cost.
