Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source                            

The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract to LivaNova USA Inc. under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i)- Only One Source Reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization) for Brooke Army Medical Center, Joint Base San Antonio, TX, for an LivaNova SenTiva Generator System.  The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339112 - Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. 

The notice is not a request for competitive quotes.  Interested and capable sources who submit capabilities in support of this requirement are responsible for appropriately marking information if it’s proprietary in nature.  The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided.

Due to the urgency of need, this requirement will be sole sourced.  Any capabilities received in response to this notice shall be considered for the future requirements.  No requests for capability briefings or telephonic inquires will be honored. The government intends to execute this award on or about 17 February 2021.
