Modernization/updates to SEM Module test equipment is required due to the obsolescence of the current test equipment.  The current test equipment will not longer supported after December 2014.  The contractor shall perform V&V of the Acceptance Test Software for 14 SEM Modules.  The 14 SEM Modules will be ultimately transferred to the Spectrum 9100 by6 NSWS Crane.  The acceptance test software for each module will be executed on the GDAIS Teradyne Spectrum 9100 test Station.  The V&V of the SEM Modules Test Software needs to be performed simultaneously in ordr to deliver the Test Validation  Report Package by September 2015.  The SEM Interchangeable Test Adapter (ITA) and modules will be supplied by NSWC Crane.

Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield, MA.  GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability  to perform the required effort.
