The purpose of the SOC/CSIRC requirement is to provide technical support services to improve the ability of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to detect and respond to security threats. To provide support needed to perform monitoring, detecting, scanning, recording, auditing, analyzing, investigating, reporting, remediating, coordinating, and tracking security-related activities for ICE Local Area Networks (LANs) and Non-Steward Extranets.
Information concerning this requirement was inadvertently sent to several unknown sources requesting socio-economic information. However, at this time, ICE, Office of Acquisition (OAQ), Information Technology Services (ITS) has neither determined the acquisition strategy for this requirement, nor requested capability statements. OAQ/ITS will be issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for this requirement no later than October 24, 2012. The RFI will request the submission of capability statements and other pertinent information which will help OAQ/ITS determine the SOC/CSIRC acquisition strategy.
