SOURCES SOUGHT FOR SECURITY ESCORTS. Information requested is for Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, supervision, and equipment to provide security escorts (50 each per month and up to 50 vehicles per month) for maintenance and repairs as well as construction activities at Joint Base Andrews, MD. The contract will be a fixed price type contract (NAICS Code 561612). We request all interested and qualified firms respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: (1) Name, Address, Phone, Fax, e-mail, DUNS number and Business Size (if Small Business, also list any applicable sub-classes i.e. 8(a), Hubzone, Service Disabled Veteran, etc). (2) A list of (not to exceed 5) security escort contract or similar contracts your firm currently holds or has completed within the last three years. The list of relevant contracts should include the location, contract number, description, estimated yearly value, performance dates, and Government point of contact with phone and fax numbers. The successful contractor will be required to provide labor, materials, supervision, and equipment security escorts for maintenance and repairs as well as construction activities. The solicitation release is subject to the availability of funds but is anticipated to be issued on or about 10 Nov 2010. All interested parties must respond to the solicitation separately from the response to this sources sought notice. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government in its ultimate acquisition approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
