This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Marine Fisheries Service, Southwest Fisheries Science Center located in La Jolla, CA has a requirement for a contractor to conduct sea turtle and grey whale conservation genetics workshop. The entire solicitation is attached. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this purchase is 541690 with a small business size standard of $7M. A firm fixed price contract will be issued with period of performance commencing approximately from date of award through May 31, 2011 with one option period.
