NASA Goddard Space Flight Center has a requirement for: licenses, maintenance, software updates and technical support for the VA-One vibroacoustic software package for the following modules:
• SEA (AutoSEA2) (VAO-S-21)- provides functionality for working with SEA subsystems
• VA One GUI Core (VAO-E-100) - includes Mesh Preparation, Shrinkwrap, Coarsening, IGES Import, Properties Database
• Low Frequency vibro-acoustics + mid frequency w/ GUI Bundle (VAO-CT-06, VAO-E-100) - *Structural FE *Acoustic FE *Acoustic BEM - Solver + Model Maniuplation (inc. 32 CORE) - *Mid Frequency = Coupled FE/SEA Solver w/ Power Injection Methods
• Acoustic BEM (VAO-S-02 GRID4) - GRID - +4 Core
• Acoustic BEM (VAO-S-02 DMP8) - +8 CORE, DMP Solver
• STRESS (VAO-S-14) - provides functionality for recovering stress, strain
• Developer Kit (VAO-E-44) - LEASE - MATLAB® Python® C/C++
The period of performance shall be from April 12, 2017-April 11, 2018.
NASA intends to purchase the item from ESI North America Inc. pursuant to FAR 13.106 for the acquisition of supplies or service determined to be reasonably available from one source. To our knowledge, no other vendor can provide this item for reasons of operation uniformity and compatibility.
The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities statements to perform the effort in writing via email to Gilser Nash at [email protected] no later than 10:00 a.m. on May 2, 2016. Such statements will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis, based upon resonses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
