CITY OF GRESHAM SE 242ND/HOGAN: NE BURNSIDE - E POWELL (GRESHAM) Bids due 4:00 pm, August 5, 2022 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed bids for the SE 242ND/HOGAN: NE BURNSIDE - E POWELL (GRESHAM) project will be received at the front desk in the main lobby of Gresham City Hall, 1333 N.W. Eastman Parkway, Gresham, Oregon 97030, addressed to the Project Manager, Mike Green, until August 5, 2022, AT 4:00 p.m. local time. Late bids will be retained unopened. The bids will be publicly opened at 4:00 p.m. in front of City Hall. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $3,000,000 to $3,500,000. The character of the work is ROADWAY WIDENING, SIDEWALK INSTALLATION, ADA RAMP INSTALLA TION, STORMWATER INFRASTRUC- TURE REPLACEMENT, AND TRAFFIC SIGNALS. PREQUALIFICATION: Bidders must be prequalified by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for the work cate gories listed for this project. The prequali fication application must be filed with and received by ODOT at least 10 calendar days prior to bid opening. The prequalifi cation work and category required for this project is:1.) EARTHWORK AND DRAINAGE, AND 2.) MISCELLANEOUS HIGHWAY APPURENANCES. Additional information regarding prequalification is available at the following internet address: https://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/Business/ Procurement/Pages/Bid Award.aspx The major quantities of work involved in this project are: QUANTITY, MEASUREMENT, ITEM 1000 Ton, Contaminated Soil Disposal 1,375 CY, 1 Inch - 0 Aggregate Base 11,200 SY, Cold Plane Pavement Removal (1-3 Inches Deep 3300 Ton, Level 3, ½ Inch ACP Mixture 21000 SF, Plain Pervious Concrete Sidewalk 21000 LF, Concrete Curb 1 LS, Traffic Signal Installation 1 LS, Traffic Signal Modification The project is to be completed within 10 Months. There will not be a pre-bid conference for this project. This Project is for a public work and is subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. This project is a Federal Aid project and subject to prevailing wage rate require ments under the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq.). Each worker in each trade or occupation that the contractor, subcontractor, or other person who is a party to the contract uses in performing all or part of the contract, must be paid not less than the higher of the applicable state or federal prevailing rate of wage. The applicable state or federal prevailing wage rate for this project shall be the most current wage rates published before the date of bid opening. All federally funded projects have "BUY AMERICA" requirements. The contractor shall be required to perform at least 30% of the awarded contract amount work from his own forces. This project contains a 10% DBE goal and 540 OJT hours. The project shall be completed in 270 days. The City of Gresham is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
