The scintillation counter provided for the Inflammation and Cardiometabolic Diseases Lab will need to
allow the user to detect ionizing radiation, a critical step in lipoprotein function assays, and that
functions independently of an external computer. Software included in the equipment should allow the
user to generate reports. Machine should also come with onsite training and tech support. Installation
and one year warranty will be covered by the vendor for the machine. Vendor should provide 90 day
warranty for software.
