FDA researchers require unlimited access to electronic journals to conduct research and reviews, stay informed on current scientific information and meet the research mission of the FDA. The online platform must allow quick searches across all resources simultaneously in one search statement. The FDA's Biosciences Library requires 24/7 online electronic access to all of the listed informational resources reduces the need for multiple individual copies of expensive resources and decreases document delivery costs. These resources are highly valued and used by FDA researchers in support of the Agency mission as evidenced by usage statistics.
