The Government intends to procure Science Citation Expanded for the AFIT D'Azzo Research Library. NAICS: 519130, FSC: 7630, SIZE STANDARD: 500 employees. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. The proposed source is Thomson Reuters (Scientific), Inc.. The proposed action is to acquire access to Science Citation Index Expanded for one base year, plus two additional option years. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the Air Force. The Government will consider any capability statement received within 5 days of the issuance of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement, and the Government does not intend to pay for any information received in response to this announcement.
