Electronic proposals from General Contractors will be received by the Screven County Board of Education, Owner, in the Board of Education Offices, 382 Halcyondale Road, Sylvania, Georgia 30467, until 2:00p.m. prevailing time on July 9, 2020, for the Screven County Elementary School ERV Replacement. Proposals are to be emailed no later than 2:00p.m to [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] At the time and place noted above, the proposals for the project will be publicly opened and read. No extension of the bidding period will be made. Bidding documents may be obtained at the office of James W. Buckley & Associates, Inc., Attention; Teresa Moore, 114 North Green Street Swainsboro, Georgia 30401. Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump-sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 35 days after time and date of opening. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of base bid. Both Performance and Payment bonds will be required in an amount equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.
