ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: ≈ $262,000 UPDATES: 4/11/22: Uploaded project Specifications, Plans, Invitation to Bid, and Geotechnical Report to the bid site SCOPE OF WORK AND BID SUBMITTAL: Sealed bids for furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and services for the construction of the Scattering Canyon Water Quality/Channel Stabilization Project (CI 19-012) for the City of Oregon City, Oregon will be received by Dayna Webb, P.E., City Engineer, at the Oregon City Engineering and Operations Center, 13895 Fir Street – 2nd Floor, Oregon City, Oregon until 2 PM local time on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Bids received after this time will not be considered. All bids received prior to the due date and time will be publicly opened and read on the due date and time at the location bids are received. The project includes: Perform all clearing, grubbing, tree removal, and site preparation. Removal of structures and obstructions and earthwork operations, including 535 CY of unclassified excavation with some anticipated rock. Installation of erosion and sediment control and site stabilization measures. Dewater channel using bypass pipe. Removal and replacement of asphalt pad. Install new concrete sedimentation manhole and new concrete storm pipe at upstream end of channel. Replace existing steel storm pipe with new Class 52 ductile iron storm pipe and stabilize outlet to channel. Construct forebay, rock drop structures, and buried boulder grade control structures. Temporary and final seeding and planting. Perform additional and incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans.
