This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The solicitation number is NFFM7030-12-05465 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-60 dated July 26, 2012. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333997 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.

The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, Northeast Fisheries Science Center, requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following:

12 each - Doran 8100XL/15 100lb Wash Down Steel Bench Scales, USDA and NTEP certified.  Required salient characteristics: Ruggedized, waterproof, wireless communication, minimum 100lb capacity, portable.

Requested date of delivery is 14 days after receipt of order.  Delivery address is:  NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC, 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA  02543.  Delivery charges must be included in quotation.
