SCAG is soliciting proposal from a qualified transportation analytics Consultant (or Consultant Team) to provide a cloud-based platform that uses data collected from mobile devices and other sources to provide insights into historical and current travel behavior trends in the region. Through the proposed platform, SCAG and other regional partner agency staff will be able to analyze and evaluate emergent local and regional travel patterns using big data that infers trip origin and destination, trip purpose, trip distance, trip route, trip mode, travel time, speeds, and travel safety issues, in association with relevant built environment, demographics and socio-economics information. This RFP outlines the scope of work, tasks and deliverables, selection process, and documentation necessary to successfully bid on this project.
