This is a sources sought notice posted for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine.  This is a sources sought notice only, not an RFQ.

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking sources of Excel Scaffolding for a large lot of Excel Scaffolding parts and pieces.

This requirement will be brand name mandatory/sole sourced to Excel Scaffolding due to the need for the new scaffolding to be compatible with existing Excel Scaffolding.

To the best of the Government's knowledge, Excel Scaffolding is the only scaffolding brand that is compatible with Excel Scaffolding.  There are no known products that are compatible with Excel's proprietary design.

Interested vendors who wish to provide evidence to the the contrary of Excel being the only compatible brand or vendors interested in providing the Excel Brand are to email [email protected] with the following information:

If your company would be providing a brand other than scaffolding, your email MUST include descriptive literature that shows how the brand is compatible in every way with the Excel brand.  You may be asked to provide a demonstration with real product to validate the compatiblity.
