LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Middletown Housing Authority (MHA) is seeking sealed bids for the following Project: Sbona Tower Envelope Rehabilitation, 40 Broad Street, Middletown, CT 06457. Bid Opening date is June 6, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Administrative Office of the Middletown Housing Authority, 40 Broad Street, Middletown, CT 06457. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A pre-bid walk thru for all bidders will be on May 20, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. onsite at Sbona Tower, commencing in the courtyard off of William Street, Middletown, CT. Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications dated May 13, 2024, as prepared by Christopher Williams Architects LLC can be viewed and purchased for a non-refundable fee at Advance Reprographics website https://www.advancedplanroom.com/jobs/public A 5% Bid Security (above $25K) and 100% Performance/Payment Bonds (above $100K) are required. Bidders will note requirements of minimum wage rates, nondiscrimination/equal opportunity rules (Executive Order 11246) and related provisions in the General Conditions. No bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days. Complete bidding requirements are noted in the Contract Documents. This project is federally assisted. Therefore, bidders must comply with the following requirements: Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; Equal Opportunity provisions of Executive Order 11246; Non-Discrimination provision of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Labor Standards provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act and related acts and Contract Work Hours Standards Act; prevailing wage determinations as issued by the United States Department of Labor; and all applicable provisions under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974.
