The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to the requirements for the performance and delivery of Sawyer Robotic Arm. For specifications please see Attachment 1: Statement of Work.

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.  The government intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed priced contract to Rethink Robotics.

THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1 FOR THIS PROCURMENT ACTION. INTERESTED PARTIES MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT, OR SUBMIT CAPABILITY STATEMENTS. THIS NOTICE OF INTEREST IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES OR PROPOSALS.
