The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to procure salvage services to maintain and augment the Navy's technical, operational, and emergency support capabilities for marine salvage. The services include the salvage of ships, craft, cargo and other items as tasked, (e.g., aircraft, weaponry, and equipment), salvage-related towing, harbor clearance, point-to-point towing, and ocean engineering projects within three geographical areas, East Coast, West Coast, and Western Pacific (WESTPAC). Up to three contracts will be awarded, one per zone, to execute the Supervisor of Salvage and Diving, USN (SUPSALV) worldwide salvage response missions. IDIQ type contracts are contemplated using cost plus award fee type delivery orders. The contemplated contracts will be for a period of one year, plus four option periods.
