The Forest Service requires Magnesium Chloride/Calcium Chloride dust abatement to be spread on approximately 28.8 miles of Forest Service roads on the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Lemhi and Custer Counties, Idaho. Prior to award, additive items may be considered, which would add approximately 21.1 miles. The additive item will only be considered depending on the amount of funding available prior to award. This project will be advertised as a performance-based commercial item written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).

Target delivery date is early July. The actual delivery date will depend upon road and weather conditions. Quotes are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, May 23, 2013. The solicitation will be available on approximately May 2, 2013 and may be downloaded from this site at that time.
