This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number is AG-9JGP-S-16-0139 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-88.
This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 334220 and small business size standard is 1,200 employees.
This is for Electronic GPS transmitters for Sage Grouse.

22 g Solar GPS PTT (GPS & Argos Doppler) to track Lat/Long, Date/Time/, Course, Speed, Altitude. Sensors for battery voltage, activity, temperature, transmission counter, PTT Uptime. A VHF transmitter attached to the PTT must be included.

PTT transmit cycles to the Argos satellites must be capable of users defined formula. Must include software decodes transmitted messages from PTT that is received by Argos system. Software stores all data, easy data storage, viewing and data manipulation, exported to Excel and CSV data file formats. GPS/Doppler fix locations can be exported into the KML & Shapefile formats that can be viewed in Google Earth or ESRI GIS software. Color options must be available in camouflage/grouse color.

This requirement is for GeoTrak model GT-22GS-GPS, 22g Solar GPS PTT, or equivalent.
