The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Services Section (DITCO/PL8311), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB, IL. 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to SafeNet, Inc., 1655 North Fort Myer Drive, Suite 1150, Arlington, VA 22209 for the purchase of On-site installation services from SafeNet for the CSD Administrative Enclave Data at Rest (DAR) implementation project.

The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Oral communications are not acceptable. A written solicitation is not available. All responses must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. CST, 12 March 2009 to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 2005-30. The NAICS code is 541511, the size standard is $25M.
