This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number SB1350-15-RQ-0412. The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-81.

This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses under NAICS Code 541930. The size standard is $7M. It is the Government's intent to issue multiple awards resulting from a single solicitation. The requirement consists of interpretation and translation services, for the associated services, and deliverable materials (transcription documents, etc.).


The due date for receipt of offeror's proposal is 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Tuesday, May 26th, 2015. Vendor proposal shall be sent by email to the attention of Jemal Williams at [email protected] . ALL PROPOSALS SHALL BE SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH; failure to submit a proposal in English will result in the proposal not being considered.

Offers will not be accepted from any third party agencies. Proposals will be accepted directly from interpretation and translation companies only. Interpreters must be employees of company.

Vendors not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the time the requirement is to be awarded will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM by accessing www.sam.gov.

Questions concerning this solicitation must be submitted to [email protected], by Friday May 15th, 2015 at 1:00 pm est, to allow a reply to reach all prospective offerors before the submission of their proposals. Any questions after the established due date may not be answered prior to the date that quotations are due. Each question should clearly specify the solicitation area to which it refers. Answers will be made available to the public as soon as practicable
