Description: Catering and Event Services for Volunteer Award Luncheon TIERED EVALUATION
This is a Combined Synopsis Solicitation for commercial items and will be conducted in accordance FAR Part 13 (FAC 2020-04). All quoters shall fully complete, sign, and submit the attached RFQ document and include any additional documentation being requested therein. The solicitation is considered set aside as a TIERED EVALUATIONS FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS.
This acquisition is being conducted using a tiered evaluation method of quotes, also known as a cascading evaluation of quotes. The Request for Quote gives preference to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned and Veteran Owned Small Business concerns.
A tiered or cascading order of precedence for evaluating quotes is specified in the solicitation/Request for Quote document. If no award can be made at the first tier to a SDVOSB, evaluations will continue at the next lower tier until award can be made.
Veteran owned concerns must be certified in the VIP system at the time of the receipt of quote (solicitation due date) as indicated in the Request for Quote (RFQ) document. Quoters shall fully complete, sign, and submit the attached RFQ document and include any additional documentation being requested therein.
The purpose of this Solicitation is to acquire services for Catering and Event Services for Volunteer Award Luncheon. It is the intention of the Government to solicit via RFQ 36C24820Q0381, NAICS Code: 722320 in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedules of the solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis. The contract resulting from the solicitation shall be a Firm Fixed Priced contract.
In an effort to meet the green initiative, documents shall be submitted electronically via email. Emails shall not be more than five (5) megabytes in size. Quotes submitted by any other means other than emailed will not be accepted.
The electronic solicitation is hereby announced on this 6th day of the month of March 2020. The quoter shall be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents and/or amendments from the Contract Opportunities website (www.beta.gov) without further notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
