This is a notice of intent to award on a sole source basis under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Letort View Community Center of Carlisle Barracks, PA to provide catering services for the National Security Seminar for the period 4-7 JUNE 2007. Letort View Community Center is the only source that can provide the service for customer requirements for force protection and locality to meet time lines of the Seminar. Carlisle Barrack's current security provides necessary force protection for disti nguished visitors and prevent potential incidents. This is neither a request for quotations nor an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determinatio n not to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice soley within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received by May 25, 2007. If no affirmative written responses are received by the due date indicating that a compar able source exists, an order will be placed with Letort View Community Center for the requirement stated above.
