The Town of Fuquay-Varina is soliciting bid proposals for the S. Judd Parkway SW Repaving project, located on S. Judd Parkway SW from Hunters Ridge Dr. to US 401 (Main St.). The project work includes, but is not limited to, tasks such as the milling and removal of existing pavement, installation of new asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and retaining curbs for curb ramps to meet ADA standards, application of pavement markings, grading, patchwork, landscaping, and any required adjustments or modifications to utilities and infrastructure along the project route. For comprehensive project requirements, please refer to the plans and specifications provided. This bid advertisement is a re-advertisement with a bid opening date scheduled for May 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Prospective bidders may view the plans and specifications for the proposed project on the Town of Fuquay-Varina website (https://www.fuquay-varina.org/ Click on "Bids", then the name of this project). Sealed Bids will be received at the Fuquay-Varina Town Hall, Procurement Department, 134 North Main Street, Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina until Thursday, 2:00 PM, May 9, 2024, at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All interpretations related to this RFB must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager, Asa Utterback, PE, ([email protected]) by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. All responses to timely submitted requests for interpretation will be addressed in the form of an addendum. The final addendum will be posted to the Town website by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. The Town of Fuquay-Varina reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason or no reason and accept the bid most favorable to the Town of Fuquay-Varina.
